Happy Thursday Beloved! We hope all is Glorious!
How wild that I’m writing to you today from the penthouse suite of the Kane Plaza in downtown Sarasota. Check out the view:
A brother in the Lord manages this suite and opens it up for ministry leaders to freely use. There are about 5 small offices and a large conference room. I definitely hope to bring you here sometime to have some “upper room” prayer and worship too!
I’ve been here for the past hour or so going through pics and videos and reflecting on the incredible week I just had. Not only were the outreaches amazing, but I also had an absolutely revelatory, and in many ways – life changing trip to the Jacksonville area last Monday-Thursday.
I spent that time touring through the area where the first Protestant Christians offered up prayer and worship on the land that later became America. Here’s a little bit about them:
After only a short time, they were all captured by the Spanish and given the chance to renounce their faith and live…and they all chose to die for Jesus instead. It is an absolutely incredible story. I will be writing a full recap of the trip soon, but I did share a little bit about it at The Front on Monday night, which you can see here. Definitely very timely too that I shared this on Memorial Day.
I also shared a lot about the trip with Josh Eisbrenner during our latest podcast, which we recorded on Tuesday. That should also be available next week.
Given that I had such a late night on Thursday and worked a long day on Friday, I didn’t make it out to the Bayfront, but I heard it was a powerful night. Karson told me that there were many good conversations and that at least 7 people prayed to receive the Lord. I also got this picture from Augast, showing me a group of Hindus that came by and had some seed sown into them.
On Saturday, I changed the arrival time to 6, and boy what a difference that made. There were lots of people there from the get-go and the weather was actually quite nice.
It started out with a bang too. When I first got on the mic and asked everyone if they loved Jesus, a bunch of young boys were jumping and shouting. A few of them ran towards the platform and I called them up to pray. They came, and so did their friends, and then they all prayed to receive Jesus. They are all on the same baseball team and they are clearly on fire for Jesus. It was SO cool to see!
Throughout the rest of the night, many kids came over and got ministered too and a handful of them prayed to receive the Lord. The night flew by, and several of us even stayed in the parking lot ministering to each other until almost 11.
Sunday was a CRAZY day at Siesta. SOO many people were at the beach. I even had to park at Dolphin Bay, which thank God we can still do. It was such a beautiful night too. Early in the night, a young man whom I led to Jesus on Mother’s Day, came up to me and testified about how good God has been to him and how He is now moving throughout his family too. I was so touched that I asked if I could record some of it:
A little while later a young man from FOB, who recently surrendered fully to Jesus came out to get baptized.
Later in the night, many people were coming through the pavilion and stopping to soak in the worship. Here’s one wave of them that came just after sunset:
Several people stayed for a while too including one guy for over 30 minutes. At another point, a drunk guy came to me saying that his ride left him and asking if we could order him an uber. I told him that we could give him a ride but to just sit and hang out for a while. A few minutes later I saw him with his eyes closed worshipping and crying. He later was prayed over and get this- his ride came back and picked him up after he had this encounter with the Lord. What a Divine set up!
At another point, this mom came over and started worshipping with her son:
Laney and Bridget came and talked to her and they later prayed with her. The woman ended up getting delivered for close to an hour.
You could really feel the Lord drawing people that night, it was really beautiful. We’re believing for more of that this weekend!

And so is this. Mainstream media is doing major pieces on the resurgence of Christianity among the youth of America.
All this to say- let’s get out there and do our part!
Yes, God is drawing people, but His messengers and ambassadors MUST arise and declare His truth in order for them to believe and receive.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37
