Team Jesus Update May 22nd, 2025

Greetings Beloved! Happy Thursday!

Last week, since I spent several days in the Jacksonville area seeking the Lord, this update is coming out a bit later than usual.

However, it was a pretty remarkable weekend. On Friday I even saw one of the most unusual Divine appointments in 7 years of doing ministry.

I was at Bayfront Park, holding Natalie, and a young man walked up to me and said, “Hey Jeff, remember me?” I said, “sorry man, my name is Chris not Jeff.” He was stunned. He proceeded to tell me that a man came into his smoothie shop a few hours earlier who looked EXACTLY like me with a baby that looked EXACTLY like Natalie. He even called his friend over who works with him and said, “doesn’t he look just like that guy who came in the store today??” She emphatically agreed.

I laughed and said jokingly, “he didn’t happen to tell you about Jesus, did he?” He said, “actually, yes! He did!”

I talked to him, his twin brother and his friend for a few minutes, and it seemed like he was away from God. He totally took the events as a huge sign though, so I prayed for him and gave him a Gods promises book. Here we are:

How crazy that God could raise up two evangelists in the same area that look the same and whose babies look the same? And time it so that the same person meets both of them on the same day just hours apart. Only God! And I know you’re thinking what I was also thinking, but it wasn’t an angel. They told me that he has come in before, but this was the first time they really talked to him. Wild!

Then, a few minutes later, a young woman named Philomena walked through with her daughter and I offered her a track. I asked if she had a relationship with Jesus and she said that she has been away from Him for a long time. I prayed for her, and The Lord gave me a word of knowledge that she had been through serious trauma and that He wanted to heal her. She started crying and she prayed with me to receive Jesus. She then told me that she hadn’t had an experience like that in many years. Thank you Jesus!

After being there for only about an hour, I had to leave to pick up Sofiya, but boy was it a fruitful hour. Praise the Lord!

On Saturday we had a huge crew, and many kids came by to receive gifts and prayer, and some prayed to receive Jesus. One young boy who received Jesus recently at Riverwalk even came up to me and told me that he’s been doing great. He also gave me this sign that he made.

So cool to see how God grows these seeds!

Later on, several kids even came up to participate in the ministry by singing songs and testifying. Here’s a few of them:

I really feel like we are going to see more of these kids getting activated into evangelism in the days ahead. So exciting!

On Sunday, I left the team in charge while I went to my sons 18th birthday dinner. Here’s a cute video of Natalie giving her big brother a kiss that night:

Before I left though, I spoke with a young man and his girlfriend for about 20 minutes. They came up asking me how they can follow God and still stay focused on their business. Turns out this young man has a clothing company that does 20-40k per month! I shared with them what it means to live the Matthew 6:33 lifestyle and how blessed it is. They soaked it all in and then they both prayed with me to receive Jesus. Let’s pray that they commit their business to the Lord and that it becomes a vehicle to expand the Kingdom.

When I came back later that night, everyone said things had gone really smooth. I was so proud of them. We even got $120 in donations!

BIG thanks to David, Amber, Karson, Thom, Debbie, Chuck, Chris, Geraldine and kids, Kayla, Nahum, Jack, Rachael, Ulys, Emma, Mike V, Tatiana, Jenny, Mike M, Ken and Michelle for coming out that weekend! Great work!

God bless!
