Team Jesus Update: May 15th, 2025

Greetings Fam! Happy Thursday!

I’m excited about tonight. At 7pm we are going to the movies to see a film that I just found out about yesterday- “Show Me Your Glory.”

The film is a documentary about various miracles that God has done in the lives of people in recent times. How cool that a film like this is playing in mainstream theaters! You can find out more about it and watch the trailer here- Show Me Your Glory | Now Playing In Theaters!

Speaking of miracles, the Lord recently did a powerful one in our family that is worth sharing.

A few months ago, my mom called me during our fellowship and prayer gathering, and she was frantic. She told me that my dad had just fallen down and that he couldn’t get back up on his own. She said that his face was drooping on the left side and that he could barely use his left arm or his left leg. These are all the telltale signs of a stroke.

After I got off the phone, we all prayed for him at my house, and then I immediately left to go to see him. When I got to their house, he was still on the floor, and everything my mom said was still true. He could barely even squeeze my arm with his left hand.

My mom badly wanted to call the ambulance, but since it was so late, and since he had an appointment with his doctor the next morning, he decided to stay home and wait to be seen the next day. We got him into bed (after my mom put a diaper on him so he wouldn’t have to get up to go to the bathroom during the night), and before I left, I prayed over him quite a bit.

The next day, my mom told me that when he woke up…he was back to normal! We were blown away!!

My dad’s doctor scolded him for not going to the hospital though, so my dad did end up going in for testing. However, because my dad has a pacemaker, they had to get clearance to do an MRI of his brain, which ended up taking weeks. The other day, my mom texted me and told me that he had gotten the MRI and that the results had come back:

Praise the Lord!!!

Now, if you have known my dad for as long as I have, you would REALLY be celebrating this because when I got saved, he was pretty much an atheist. He has only opened his heart up to Jesus in the last few years. So, not only is my dad physically well again, but I know this will be a HUGE rain shower for all the seeds that are starting to grow in him. I am SO grateful!

Speaking of rain, please continue to pray for Florida because we have been in our worst drought since 2001. Interestingly, the amount that our area was needing was exactly….9.41 inches!

That has to be a sign! Thankfully, we got 3 inches on Sunday and Monday so praise God for that!

During the Sunday rainstorm, the drum circle came into the pavilion for the first time in a while, and although their sound largely drowned out ours, God still moved in the midst of it. In fact, two guys even got slain in the Spirit right there in the pavilion! Here’s one guy:

Here’s a video of both guys getting touched:

The rest of the night was amazing too. Many people came and received gifts, tracts and prayer, and several prayed to receive Jesus. Here’s one young man named Peyton who listened to me preach for a few minutes and then came up and asked to receive Jesus:

His grandma was with him too, and she was SO happy about this!

At another point, a family from Washington came up and asked for prayer. The father told me that they’ve come to Sarasota for several years in a row and his kids always ask to go to the beach on Sunday to hear us. How cool is that!?

That night we also had a team from Washington helping us and they are on fire! They were talking to people all night, even right up until the time we left. It was thier first time in Sarasota too and they were so encouraged by all God is doing here! Here’s we are together:

Saturday was a great night too. There were dark clouds over Riverwalk from the moment we got there, and we only had about 30 minutes of outreach before it started raining, but it felt like one of the most fruitful 30 minutes of outreach we’ve ever had there.

First, we ministered to a woman in the parking lot, then a bunch of young kids came and prayed with us, and then 4 teenage boys prayed to receive the Lord. They are the ones on the bikes (one is behind the pole).

Later, after the rain started, there were a number of people who stayed and hung out under the awning with us. These 3 young people came and got ministered to while we were there, and they all prayed to receive the Lord and got inner healing.

Even though the crowds were small that night, it was so cool to see all God did. I even saw Him do something I’ve NEVER seen before. TWO separate times when I was praying with someone…lightning struck right after I said amen. That was so cool!

Friday night was great too. We were able to make it for about an hour, and I heard the crowds were good and that several prayed to receive the Lord. So awesome!

BIG thanks to all the warriors who made it to the frontlines this weekend- Amber, Karson, David, Rael, Rene, Maria, Chuck, Debbie, Majorie, Mike V, Chris, Geraldine and fam, Tim, Sara, Mike M, Faith and the Washington crew. You guys are awesome!

Also want to give a shoutout to our brother Devonte. He’s the Christian rapper who we ministered with in Ft. Lauderdale. He’s on a mission trip to Israel right now and he shared a video of him preaching open air…with the megaphone that I gave him in Ft. Lauderdale!

I wonder if I will get any eternal treasure for that! LOL!

One last God thing to share is that for the first time in 11 years there are 2 Christian songs on the Billboard Hot 100:

Let’s pray that this continues!

Love and blessings to you my dear friend! Hope to see you again SOON!
