Team Jesus Update: November 21, 2024

Hey my beloved friend! Happy Thursday!

Is it just me or has the mighty move of God that just happened in our state and our nation, not fully sunk in yet? Crazy right? Seems almost too good to be true in some ways. If all continues as it looks, we will soon be celebrating that prayer and Bibles have been brought back to public schools, that all forms of demonic indoctrination have been removed, that safety has come back to our cities, that prices for everything have come down, and that health has come back to our people. It is truly a good time to be an American.

I also love that America is about to have a 14-month long birthday party, in part to help teach people about our founding and our God given mandate as a nation. Watch Trumps video about it below:

This feels like the beginning of everything I’ve been burning to see happen to America for years. I’m so grateful and excited.

Now, although this national miracle still hasn’t fully sunk in, I will say that it sunk in much more on Tuesday when I went back to the Sarasota House of Prayer for our harp and bowl intercession set. Sofiya and I had to miss last Tuesday because of the 700 Club filming, so the last day I had been there was on election day.

I shared the testimony this week of how God was moving on my heart on election day with an intense travail for our nation and how He gave us such a breakthrough that night. I also read some quotes from some of our earliest forefathers that speak to the covenant that was made with God over this nation, and I prayed what I believe is a prophetic verse over America for right now. Click below, I believe it will bless you:

As for the weekend, things were great. I was so proud of the team- Mike, Thom, Rene, Maria, Amber and Gene- for taking over on Friday. It was a slow but good night, which I was only part of towards the end. My son had a soccer game that night, (which his team won 5-0!) and it is important for me to be there. I got this cool picture of the whole varsity team hanging at the stadium while I was there too. Definitely a proud dad moment!

Saturday was such a good night. In the very beginning, two young boys (maybe 8/9) came up to me and one of them said with excitement “do you remember us??” They looked familiar, but I couldn’t recall meeting them because it had been so long. Maybe close to a year. we talked for a while though and I was moved that we had made such a strong impression on them that they were that excited to see us after so many months. It really made me realize what a gift it is to be able to minister (at all 3 locations really) to people we can leave a lasting imprint on.

His family joined us for prayer after this, and they reaffirmed their faith in Christ. This is us doing Team Jesus afterwards:

A number of other kids came over throughout the night too and many prayed to receive Christ. It was awesome. There was also a group of people that came out to celebrate the birthday of young girl who died last year at age 6. Our brother Bruce talked to them and the Lord moved on their hearts. They could see that the Lord orchestrated the meeting on that day (which was the girl’s actual birthday), to reach them, and they all prayed to receive Jesus. Here they are:

There were others that prayed with him and Trish to receive Christ as they ministered at the skate park too. Here’s a few of them:

So cool to see Team Jesus playing divide and conquer against the devil!

Sunday was another great day on the mission field, this time with a massive crowd. Siesta Beach had its annual sand sculpture event that night and between that and the enormous drum circle, we had lots of people to minister to. Here’s a video of some of the crowd:

We gave out lots of tracts, hundreds of people heard the gospel, and many stopped for prayer. At one point I even prayed for a family of 8 who all prayed to receive Jesus.

Another cool moment was seeing this young Indian man pray to receive Jesus. He said his dad was a believer, but he had never accepted Christ. We ended up meeting the dad shortly after, and although he didn’t speak much English, you could tell that he was super happy. He even took this picture of us before they left:

Another cool moment was seeing the man on my left, whom I first met at Siesta about two months ago. That night, he said he and his wife were having major problems and he wasn’t sure what the future was for his marriage. He and his wife are believers, but he was backslidden for a while until that wake-up call. That night I counseled him and prayed for his marriage, and last Sunday he came back and told me they are back together and doing much better. I was so happy about that! Here’s us along with his friend:

And how cool is it that someone made this sand sculpture for thousands of people to see!?

I feel like it is yet another sign of God’s presence on the beach. I’m excited to see what God does in this next season-on Siesta, all over the 941, and beyond!

Speaking of that, I am currently seeking the Lord’s guidance on the 2025 mission trip schedule. I feel like this year, after coming off the epic victories we have had in our state, the call to go throughout the Sonshine state bringing David’s Tabernacle, is 10x stronger. This is the tentative schedule I have thus far. Please pray for me to have clarity on what is supposed to be the final plan.

Thank you so much! See you soon on the mission field!!

Love and blessings!!

Chris
