Hey Fam! Happy Friday!
Wow, what a week! I’m still in awe over what God has done in our state and in our nation!
Tuesday morning, while at the House of Prayer, I read various covenants that our forefathers made with God throughout our history. This article contains several of them- America’s ‘Explicit Covenant with God’: How a Nation Pledged to God Can Save a World or Lose It | CBN News
Afterwards I prayed out of this verse in Exodus 2:
“And the sons of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry for help because of their bondage ascended to God. 24 So God heard their groaning; and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 25 And God saw the sons of Israel, and God took notice of them.”
That day, the Lord allowed me to feel waves of His grief over the spiritual condition of America and I travailed over how far our nation has fallen from our original vision and mandate. That day (as we have been for a while), we cried out in desperation for America to be saved from the antichrist spirit.
Up until 8pm, I was still in a deeply serious and vigilant mood. I couldn’t even have a normal conversation with anyone because I was so intensely focused on continuing to cry out for God to move in the election. Just after 8pm though, a switch was flipped when I saw Desantis Post this-
As the minutes went on and the news sank in, I felt like Team Jesus won the spiritual equivalent of the Super Bowl. We defeated a mob who spent $120,000,000 (8x more than the pro-life side and more than double what has EVER been spent to pass an abortion amendment in America) to try and make Florida the abortion destination for the entire southeast United States. 7 other states had voted on similar amendments since the overturning of Roe v Wade and ALL of them passed, even in very conservative states like Kansas and Ohio. Despite all this, Florida set the example for America and said NO!!!
I’ve honestly never been more proud and more thankful to be a Floridian. This win truly proved to me (again) that the prophetic words about Florida being the forerunner state for reformation across America is absolutely true.
At that point, I was like “ok, even if the rest of the night doesn’t go the way I want, I’ll still have HUGE reason to celebrate.” Then, as the night went on, I became perpetually stunned by what was happening. It was a TOTAL landslide.
And here’s the map of county wins. Is that crazy or what!?
Here’s the map showing the gains in the various counties over 2020:
And here is how this year compares to the last 3 elections:
At one point while all these results were coming in, I remembered that on Sunday night I had asked the Lord to tell me what He was saying about the election, and I wrote it down in my journal. When I looked back and read it, I was stunned to realize that it all came to pass.
We will never forget it Lord!!!
In addition to all these wins, Team Jesus had a great weekend out on the mission field too.
On Friday night there was a good amount of traffic through the park and many people were touched. Several people even prayed to receive Christ, including this young man who told Rene and Maria that he never believed in Jesus or the Bible until they spoke to him that night. What a sign of how God is waking up the youth.
On Saturday, there was a birthday party in our usual spot at Riverwalk, so we set up a little bit to the side. Throughout the night though person after person from the party came up for prayer and ministry and about 6 of them prayed to receive Jesus. It was awesome!
Many children received prayer and ministry that night too which was awesome.
On Sunday, Siesta was back in full swing. There were lots of people at the beach and lots of people that came to hear the word and get ministry. At one point while I was preaching, I gave an altar call and there were probably 4-5 people (maybe more) who prayed along with me. One of them then came up and talked to me for close to an hour about how she could have a deep relationship with Christ. When she was in the prayer circle later, she acknowledged to God that He had a sense of humor reaching her like this because she was really there to go to the drum circle. So cool how He works!
Were excited to get back out on the mission field this weekend. It’ll be the first time ministering in this new era of grace that we are in too, which will be exciting!
We love you and we hope to see you soon!
Chris, Sofiya and Natalie
PS- Keep us lifted up for next Tuesday. That is the day we will be interviewed for the 700 Club.
