Team Jesus Update: September 19, 2024

Hey Fam! Happy Thursday!

What a week it has been!

Before I get into the recap, let me first just say to you- thank you for reading these weekly updates. I put time and energy into this every week for one main reason- because God wants us to continually meditate on the things that He has done. He has been impressing this upon me much more lately too, as we enter into this tumultuous season of unknowns.

On that note, on Monday night the Lord stirred on me a prophetic/instructional word about this, which I shared during worship. You can hear it below:

Interestingly, when the speaker got up to teach, she began by commenting on how amazing it was that God brought such a strong confirmation of her message through my Word of exhortation. She then pulled out this paper, which she had copy of for everyone, and she told us that part of her message centered around remembering the works of the Lord:

So, given the fact that God was clearly breathing on this exhortation, I figured it would be good to share it with you as well.

Now, on to remembering what He’s done…

By far the most powerful testimony to share from this past week is the trans-formation that we’ve seen in our new brother AJ. AJ is the man who was battling identity confusion and demons of transgenderism. As you may have read last week, AJ prayed to receive the Lord at Bayfront Park two weeks ago, and last Thursday he even came to our fellowship gathering.

We were really encouraged by what was happening in AJ, but then last Friday he showed up to Bayfront, dressed as a woman again, and clearly still battling the attacks of the enemy to stay in his past life. We kept praying for him though, and Saturday night, he had a huge breakthrough. He then sent me this text:

Then he came to the beach the next night, and for the first time I saw him dressed like a man! Here’s the powerful before and after pic!

AJ had a lot of breakthroughs that night at the beach, and God even gave him a supernatural sign while he was in the prayer circle with us. I shared the testimony at The House of Prayer on Tuesday, which you can hear below:

As for the rest of Sunday night…it was awesome! Many people got ministered to, prayed with us, took tracts and heard the Word. We had a ton of evangelists with us that night too, including Pastor Henry and his team from Resonate Life and Pastor Robin and his team from House Chapel. Here were just a few moments caught on camera. I especially love the one of the Humphrey kids praying over other children!

We also ended up having a prayer circle with close to 30 people, which was amazing:

Here’s a powerful highlight video from the night too. It was quite the Jesus Party!

Friday night was great too. Many people came and listened to the Word throughout the night, and we got to minister a number of people as well. Here’s one pic of some of the people that were there as Gene was preaching:

That night, Lucas spoke at length with a very sweet woman named Lisa, whom we all got to pray over at the end. The Lord gave me a word of knowledge about her needing to go all in for Him and He showed me something that I had never really thought of before. He showed me that if He would have gotten off the cross even one moment early, despite all the time He spent there suffering, we would have NO forgiveness or salvation. In the same way, if we only give God 99% of our life, we have NO forgiveness or salvation. I felt the Lord was saying that this was the time to go all in for Him and Lisa said that really resonated with her. Here she is:

On Saturday, we had a powerful time at The Riverwalk. At least 4 people prayed to receive Jesus, several received the Holy Spirit, and many people took tracts and heard the Word.

It was also great to have our brother Howie back with us, after he was ministering in Italy and the UK for the past few months!

One other thing that happened on Saturday was that my prophetic friend Ashley came down from over 2.5 hours away because she had a powerful prophetic dream about the ministry, and she needed to tell me about it in person. There were several pieces to it, but the gist was that God was raising up the 5-fold ministry within our group.

The very next day I felt led to listen to a message by a Pastor friend of mine on the east coast, and sure enough, it was all about the 5-fold ministry and how God will use our various spiritual gifts to help us operate in the ministries He has called us to. It’s a powerful message that I encourage you to listen to:

Another powerful message I listened to this weekend was from Roger Lee, the Pastor of the Sarasota House of Prayer. It is about the two eternal judgements of God, the one for unbelievers and the one for believers. It’s an important message for us to hear because it’s a great reminder of what we’re trying to save people from…AND a great reminder of the vast reward that we have coming to us for saying Yes to Gods calling on our life. Check it out below:

Lastly, let me just thank all the MIGHTY Warriors who sacrificed their time and energy to help Jesus get more of His reward this past weekend- Amber, Laney, Chris, Geraldine and kids, Rene, Maria, Chuck, Debbie, Trish, Stephanie, Ashley, Thom, Gene, Michelle, Ricardo, Pastor Henry and his team of 7, Pastor Robin, Sarath, Michael, Mike M, Howie, Lucas, Mike F, Stacy, and Joe. Great Kingdom work everyone!

We’re believing that this weekend will be another powerful one. We hope to see you again soon!

Chris, Sofiya and Natalie
