Hey Fam! Happy Thursday!
What a wild week it has been. Like you, I’m still a little shook over what happened to Donald Trump on Saturday. The fact that he was one head tilt and about 2 mm away from death is insane. This picture shows how close it was:
After witnessing such a miraculous thing, there is no doubt in my mind that Gods hand is upon him. Interestingly, a prophetic vision given in March of this year has been floating around online, and in the vision the man saw the details of this assassination attempt. He also saw that it made Trump become radically born again and on fire for Jesus. You can see a clip of that here:
Given this, it was encouraging to see that he shared this post shortly after:
Let’s hope and pray that the fullness of this vision comes to pass. I fully believe that this miracle and an on-fire Donald Trump could spark a national revival.
Another interesting layer to this is that Trump was shot only 50 miles away from where George Washington famously survived a shooting where four bullets went through his coat, but none went through his body. It’s a pretty cool story that is well told by my favorite historian William Federer.
It was a good weekend on the mission field too. Very wet, but still good.
Friday was rain delayed so didn’t start until after 8. There were still decent crowds there though, which was good. One highlight was that a man came back to see us that had prayed to receive the Lord at Bayfront close to a year ago. He told us that he has been doing really well and that God has been working powerfully in his life. He also told us that shortly after he met us, he met our friend Monte at Lido Beach and got baptized during his Friday night outreach. Interestingly, just as he was telling me about this- Monte showed up to say hi. It was definitely a 4-D (daily demonstration of Divine design) moment.
The man thanked us profusely for being out there last year and then he spent several minutes on his knees in worship:
Such an encouragement to see that!
On Saturday we were rain delayed again and didn’t start until around 6:30. Luckily though, the Lord sent someone ahead of us who was preaching and singing when I pulled up. His name is Ken and he ended up joining us for the entire night and singing several great songs, which was super cool.
One of the young girls who was baptized last week came back to sing a song and we got to minister to a number of other people as well. Then at the end we had 9 people join us for prayer which was awesome. Video below:
On Sunday, it rained from about 4:30-8. There were hardly any people at the beach, but we set up under a small pavilion down the walkway around 7 anyway, believing that God would use it. Several people took tracts and a handful of people heard the gospel. Then at one point, a woman walked by who was looked like she was very heavy laden. After she came back by again, we asked her if she was ok and if we could pray for her. She told us that she came down from Ohio with her boyfriend and that he ditched her and left her stranded earlier that day. She was a wreck. We ended up talking to her for a while, praying for her, sharing Jesus with her and giving her a ride. It was a huge Divine appointment and it likely wouldn’t have happened if we hadn’t been in that other location. I also spoke with her this week, and she says that she wants to come this Sunday and sing some songs with us. So cool!
BIG thanks to Amber, Gene, Mike M, Mike V, Mauricio, Jenny, Sarath and friend, Debbie, Chuck, Eduardo and wife, Laney, Ken and Mike F for coming out to serve!
Hope to see you soon!
