Team Jesus Update, May 23-26. 2024

Hey Fam! Happy Thursday!

Well, it was another great weekend!

Friday night we had some good traffic, and many people heard and several prayed to receive Christ. One woman was even in tears, being touched powerfully by the Holy Spirit. No pics unfortunatly.

The next morning, I took Natalie to Bayfront Park, and I was excited to see some evangelists there spreading the Word!

The rest of the day was full. We had a great service at the retirement home and a powerful time at Riverwalk. Amazingly, for the 3rd week in a row a group of young kids came up and prayed to receive Christ all at once after I gave the altar call. So cool!

Here’s the video:

So amazing to see what God is doing in the children!

On Sunday, we had another full day. We went to Tampa to be part of a massive unity gathering called ToGather. Over 100 churches closed their doors and came together at the USF Sun Dome. It was so amazing to see thousands of people united together to worship and exalt Jesus. They didn’t have anyone on screens, and they didn’t introduce hardly anyone as they spoke or prayed. It was very different than anything I’ve ever seen and SO refreshing.

Here’s a powerful video of everyone singing Jesus!

After that we went to our brother Jeff’s memorial service, and I got to share a little bit of how he has impacted us. It was so nice to be part of that. Please keep his family in prayer.

After that we went to the beach and had a great outreach. We gave out tons of tracts, got to pray for a handful of folks and we had a really nice interaction with a man who came to the beach last year and preached angrily at all the people in the drum circle. I confronted him last year and we had a pretty tense conversation. This time, he was super humble and was receiving all my feedback well. It was great.

I also got to give the newspaper with Natalie’s testimony to several of the drummers in the drum circle and I’m believing that God will use that testimony to lead them to faith. Acts 9:41! I also was contacted this week by the 700 Club, and I have an appointment to discuss more of the details of her story with them one week from today. Lords will be done!

BIG thanks to Amber, Mike, Mike, Chuck, Debbie, Rene, Maria, Shawn, Sara, Lauren and Karson for coming out to serve this weekend!!

One other thing that I wanted to share is that this week I found out that a good friend of mine, whom I haven’t seen in 10 years, was leading worship at Asbury the day the revival broke out. He’s the black man in this picture-

I’m in contact with him about possibly coming down here to share the testimony in person, which would be amazing. He shared it on a podcast though, and I highly recommend that you listen. It is a powerful testimony!
