Schedule, Announcements and Testimonies- August 10-13, 2023

Hey Fam! Happy Thursday!

How awesome is it that we get to do what we do? To be able to be so bold for Jesus and see hundreds and hundreds of people touched with the Gospel every weekend is so amazing. What the Lord also showed me recently is that what we are doing is bigger than just souls getting saved and believers getting ministered to, He made it very clear that this was part of His strategy for taking back the land. I’ll expand on that in a moment, but first let me share something the Lord told me from His Word.

Recently, He led me to Numbers chapter 13-14. That is the passage about the spies being sent to scope out the land of Canaan that God had promised to give the Israelites. Here’s a portion:

“And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.”…17 Then Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, “Go up this way into the South, and go up to the mountains, 18 and see what the land is like: whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak, few or many; 19 whether the land they dwell in is good or bad; whether the cities they inhabit are like camps or strongholds; 20 whether the land is rich or poor; and whether there are forests there or not. Be of good courage. And bring some of the fruit of the land.” Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes.

Then, when the spies go to explore the land, they discover that there are giants in the land and their faith and their focus gets derailed by the sight of them.

26 Now they departed and came back to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh; they brought back word to them and to all the congregation and showed them the fruit of the land. 27 Then they told him and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. 28 Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan…31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” 32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. 33 There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

As I read this The Lord told me that there are many people in the body of Christ right now that are going through the same syndrome. We see the corruption in our government, the propaganda in our media, the demonic agendas being woven into our culture, the prices of everything skyrocket, and the widespread compromise in the body of Christ- and we are tempted to be like those spies and use that as an excuse as to why we shouldn’t even try to take back possession of the land. However, the report of the Lord is that He is with us and that He has anointed us to do exactly that.

He told me that right now He is looking for the Joshua’s and the Caleb’s of this generation to arise.

30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”

But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes; and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”

He said that if we are willing to step out in faith and trust Him, then the same promise He gave to Joshua was for us-

Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.” Joshua 1:3

As I finished this time with the Lord, He told me that I was going to need to share this message soon. Within about 48 hours, Michelle Skorski texted me and told me that she felt like I should share something in September at The Front Port Charlotte. Such a beautiful confirmation!

So, let’s keep this in mind as we navigate through these last days- that although the giants in the land are big and intimidating…God is with us, and He wants US to take possession of the land for HIM. This is why He has been sending us out to these various places, because He wants to establish His throne throughout the land.

As I was thinking about this the other day, He reminded me of how much change we’ve seen in our local area and throughout the state, just since we started ministering. Our team has ministered all throughout the state for the past 5 years and for example- back in 2018 when we first started, Florida was considered a swing state. Now it is DARK red for the first time in decades. The Christian Nationalists are now in charge all throughout the state and that doesn’t look like it will change anytime soon. Our state is also the model for every other state to follow that wants to see similar transformation, so you can definitely say with confidence that a throne for Him has been built. It really is encouraging to know that as we minister, we’re not only bringing His Kingdom into individual lives, but also into the entire land.

On that note, here are some highlights from the weekend.

On Friday, things got off to an interesting start. When I got to the park, the lot looked super full, but the timing was perfect because the closest spot to the statue was open when I drove by. When I got out, I was thanking God for His favor, when all of a sudden, I heard someone singing. I looked around and saw a woman standing right by where I was parked, and she was singing a song that I didn’t recognize. I few minutes later, I heard her singing Amazing Grace! I said hi to her, but she just kept on singing so I just let her be. I felt like it was a real wink from the Father that He has gone before us. Here’s one short video I got. I tried to not make it obvious that I was filming.

After I started setting up, we met a young man named Chip, who said he had been investigating religions lately, but had never heard the gospel. We got to share Jesus with him and pray for him and then he stayed with us for much of the evening. Definitely a Divine appointment!

Throughout the night there were many people at the park, so we were so thankful that the army of God showed up! Here’s us praying beforehand. Chip is to my right-

The soldiers were engaged in the battle too, so we got to pray for a good number of people. Some even prayed to receive the Lord. Here’s a few videos of people getting ministered to:

Another:

One really cool moment was when a young woman walked by and started singing along with the song. She stayed for a few minutes, and then she told us that she had recently lost her husband and that she hadn’t been to church in while. She said she felt like she was being reawakened in worship and she was so thankful that we were there. She even said she wants to join us in the future.

Another cool moment was seeing a man who I met 3 months ago at Bayfront who actually came back just to ask for prayer about something. So cool that he would think to go to us for that, even though I’ve only spoken to him once. Definitely shows the kind of impact we’re making on people.

Also cool was seeing a young man named Kaden, whom we met on March 10th of this year. The day we met him it was pouring rain, but we went out anyway. He was in the park at that same moment thanking God for saving his life exactly one year earlier, when he had attempted suicide. We hadn’t seen Kaden in 5 months, but he told us that meeting us that night was a life changing moment and that what he felt that night from us ministering to him, hasn’t left him. Isn’t it cool how God works!?

Here’s all of us praying at the end. Kaden is the one with the blond hair-

BIG thanks to Amber, Augast, Diana, Rene, Maria, Laney, Karson, Jeff, Abagail, Mike M, Cory, Nate, Anne and Sara for coming out to serve. Great work everyone!

On Saturday, there was a big accident on the bridge to Palmetto, so traffic was backed up so much that there was hardly anyone at the park when we first arrived. That didn’t stop the move of God though because even early on we were talking to kids that ended up praying to receive the Lord. Here’s a video where you can see a few of them-

Thankfully, many more people came out as the evening went on and I’d say we got to sow into at least 300+ people. We also gave out nearly 4 cases of water and there was a nice breeze and NO BUGS! Hallelujah!

I heard about four kids total that prayed to receive the Lord, including this young man, who had never heard the gospel before! So cool!

There were also other kids that came and had revival fire set off in their heart. Here’s some of their drawings:

Speaking of “kids”, an 18-year-old young man named Zack was out at the park evangelizing with someone from his church and he ended up joining us. He prayed for people, preached the gospel, and showed everyone that there is a fiery remnant in Gen Z! Here’s him sharing some of his testimony:

I know the pastor of Zack’s church, and I’m pretty sure they will be joining us at Riverwalk in the near future. Thank you Lord!

Another cool moment was meeting a couple that didn’t go to church or know much about the gospel. They were very open, and they let me share the gospel with them and pray for them to receive supernatural revelation. That was so cool because I know it’s only a matter of time before God captures their hearts!

Many were also drawn into the worship and the Word that night too, and several came and joined us for prayer at the end. Here’s a video of that:

I have to say though that the most memorable Divine appointment for me was at the VERY end of the night. Zack, John and I were talking by the van for a while after we packed up and a young man walked by us and accidently dropped a small liquor bottle on the ground. He picked it up, and he looked at us laughing and said “you guys want one? I have like 20 of these b***hes in the car.” We told him that we didn’t want any alcohol because we had the new wine of the Holy Spirit because we have given our lives to Jesus. The young man looked at us stunned and said “No way! My boss was just telling me the same thing! He told me that his life was transformed by Jesus too!” He was so excited to be hearing the same thing from us that he just kept saying it over and over as he was walking away. I had to laugh because we were literally just about to leave when it happened, and I am positive that the young man will tell his boss about it and that his boss will probably lead him to the Lord. How cool!!

BIG thanks to Karina, Laney, Chuck, Debbie, Mike V, Ricardo, Anne, Zack, John, Cheryl and friends, and Zack for coming out to serve! Great work!!

On Sunday, we had an army again and there was so much action that not many of the highlights were caught on video. Here’s one cool shot of the people that came to serve and several that were receiving ministry though. It felt like a real Jesus party!

In the very beginning, a young man came over as I was preaching, and he started mocking me. He was gay, and he was trying to be as flamboyant as he could be to try and distract me from what I was doing. At one point, he got right up in my face and started asking me questions in a very arrogant way. “Doesn’t God make people gay? Aren’t they born that way?” He said. I began explaining about original sin and how we are all born with the tendency to sin. After he exhausted his other rational arguments, he proceeded to say that all Christians are hateful and that he wants nothing to do with them. I told him that nobody following Jesus hates anyone and feels ok about it because hatred is condemned in the bible. He didn’t have much to say to that, so he just left and yelled while going up the walkway. Then, his friend came over and got in my face and said that she was a Christian and that Christians should accept people and not judge. Long story short, we got into a 5–10-minute discourse that included her yelling ridiculous statements like “everyone sins, even Jesus” and “the bible doesn’t condemn homosexuality only pedophilia.” I firmly but lovingly rebutted all her statements and it ended with her giving me a hug, thanking me for talking and asking to connect with her on Instagram so we could talk more another time. I’m not sure if that’ll ever happen, but I felt like it was a meaningful encounter, nonetheless.

As the evening went on a 79-year-old man prayed to receive the Lord as well as several teenage girls. A woman who was raped at age 14 also came over and got some serious healing in her heart. Over the course of the night, many people were drawn into the worship too, we got to pray for many people. We also gave out nearly 4 cases of water. We had an army of laborers with us again too, including a woman who wants to do videography for us on Sunday’s. Very cool!

Here’s us praying at the end after several people had already left-

BIG thanks to Laney, Amber, Mike M, Karson, Vitaly, Olga, Olga+ her sister and husband, Monique, Leah, Hugo and the other few whose names I don’t know. Great work everyone!
