Greetings beloved! Happy Thursday!
What a blessed week it has been! We had AMAZING services over the weekend with miracles every night, a super fun gender reveal party, and I had a blast sharing a whole ‘lot of GOOD news at The Front on Monday. It was so cool to see some of you that night too!
In the message on Monday, I described over a dozen REALLY cool moves of God that have happened since Roe v Wade was overturned, including several in our local area (outside of the outreaches), many in our state and a few that stretched across the nation/s. I also shared two prophetic words that were spoken over our region in the last 12 months, one from the Pastor over the famous Brownsville Revival in Pensacola and another from the current President of Asbury Theological Seminary. It really is quite stunning when you take in all this information as a whole, especially since I included a whole bunch of pictures and videos depicting these events. I’ve listened to it like 4 times already since Monday and I’m SO pumped for God is going to do next!
If you missed it, here it is:
As for the weekend…
On Friday, for the first little while there were only a few of us there…and then it was like someone opened the floodgates and people just kept showing up to serve. At one point, I counted 15 people (including Sofiya and I) there to minister, which may be the most we’ve ever had there before. We definitely needed everyone too, because the park was packed with people. The weather was really nice too and many people stopped and listened, received prayer, and one way or another got touched by the Lord. With so many people ministering, I couldn’t get everyone’s testimonies, but it was AWESOME. Here’s some videos and pictures:
Such a powerful worship team that night:

Also, it was very interesting that we met a brother and his family from Ukraine, and while they were with us, we had a time of public prayer for the people of Ukraine and Russia. IMMEDIATELY after we finished, the news came through that there was an attempt to overthrow Vladimir Putin by a large group of mercenaries. The timing was so profound that I felt the Lord telling me afterwards to keep praying for Ukraine and Russia. Here’s our Ukrainian brother:
Because of all the people and all the action, the time FLEW by that night. We didn’t even have our prayer circle until almost 10:30, which is pretty unusual. It was PERFECT timing though, because as we were circling up to pray, the Lord did something amazing. This group of young people walked by with instruments in their hands, and I asked them what they were doing there. “We just had a worship service,” one of them said. As you can imagine, I was shocked to hear that.
Turns out, the Lord had told these kids from a local church youth group worship team, to come to Island Park (on the other side of the marina) and to use music and singing to draw people in to hearing the gospel! Sound familiar!?
We ended up praying with them, and then talking to them for a while after. All of us were convinced that God had orchestrated the entire thing right off the bat, but at one point, I mentioned to one of the leaders that we minister at Siesta Key also and she about lost it. “Oh wow!” she said. “My friend Aileen just told me YESTERDAY that I needed to meet you! She said that joining your group would the ‘new wine’ for our evangelism ministry! I had no idea you would be out here tonight though; this is totally a move of God!!!”
After this we were both in AWE. Especially since I don’t even know her friend Aileen, she just follows us on Facebook! All that to say, we will probably have some more on fire Gen Z evangelists with us in the near future. Here’s a video of us praying together at the end:
BIG thanks to Abagail, Alan, Amber, Augast, Carson, Diana, Donna (?), Isaiah, Jeff, Mike M, Nate, Thom and Zack for coming out on Friday! Great Job!
On Saturday, we started the day with our gender reveal party, which was attended by family only. I was blessed that my parents and my son were there with a bunch of other believers, and they were getting seed sown into them the entire time. Also cool was that we were doing this on what I am calling “Life Day”, because it was exactly one year after Roe v Wade was overturned.
Here’s the BIG moment:
We told everyone to wear either pink or blue to the party, depending on what they thought we were having, and I had to laugh out loud when I got to Riverwalk later that day and I saw a girl waiting there to minister with us who was wearing one pink sock and one blue sock! I had never met her before, and she had no idea we had the party just a few hours earlier. Gotta love Gods sense of humor!
The service that night was amazing too. We saw the Lord move in many different ways. For one thing, I was amazed at how pleasant the weather was. We had a really nice breeze, good shade and less humidity than I expected. This brought hundreds of people out to the park.
Within the first 15 minutes after setting up, 3 kids, all siblings, came to the gift table and ended up praying to receive the Lord. One even said, “I can feel it!” That definitely got things off to a good start! Here are the kids:
We had some incredible worship that night too, and it was so great to have our anointed sister Rebekah back with us! At one point, some people from a local church that were there having a worship service at the amphitheater, came over and saw what we were doing. They were so impressed that they asked if they could minister along with us. Here’s Rebekah and their worship leader singing a real power ballad.
Later on, as the park REALLY started to fill up, she led a few songs herself and many were drawn in.
At the end of the video, you can see a small group to the right who came to listen. We ended up talking to them and it turns out they are Brazilian worship leaders that live in Orlando and were down visiting. The guitar player was literally in tears as he talked to Howie because he was so moved by what we were doing. He kept saying “I’ve been wanting to do something like this for so long!! This is so amazing!!” We knew that it was the perfect time to activate them, so we had them come and do a few songs in Portuguese, which was awesome.
Afterwards, they kept saying that they wanted to start doing the same thing in Orlando once they got back. How cool is that!? Here’s a video of them ministering:
Here’s some pictures of some people getting ministered to at the gift table:
We also heard a cool testimony from our friend Fred that night. He said that he was at the gym a few days earlier, and someone came up to him and told him that he saw us baptizing people last weekend at Riverwalk and wanted to get baptized also. The man hadn’t even received the Lord yet either. How cool that were seeing such a ripple effect!
BIG thanks to Carlos, Cindy, Chuck, Darnell and family, Debbie, Ed, Fred, Jackson, Howie, Rebekah and Olivia for coming out to serve! Amazing job everyone!!!
On Sunday, the day started out great when I found a parking spot right in front of the pavilion on my first pass, even though the entire lot was packed! After that, I knew it was going to be a special night. And God DID NOT disappoint!
Early in the night, a man in his late teens walked by and yelled at me. He was swearing and telling me that our sign was misleading and that we were doing people a disservice by being out there. I called him over, and it was SO amazing that after a few tense words, he actually stayed and talked to me for over 20 minutes and listened intently to everything I had to say about the gospel. He told me that he was raised catholic and had a really bad experience, so he was very resistant towards God. God really moved on his heart though. He ended up apologizing for being rude and he even let me pray over him. I then gave him some tracts and a God’s promises book, and before he left, he told me that he was really glad he came and talked to me. Come on Jesus!
Later, two teenage girls on vacation from Wisconsin came over and talked to us for a while. Paul ended up praying for one of them and the power of God hit her so hard that she fell to the ground.
When she got up, she said that God had touched her in such a profound way, that she wanted to surrender all and be baptized. When we got to the water, we announced what we were doing, and it was so cool that she even wanted to testify in front of everyone. Here’s that video:
Here’s her getting baptized:
After we got done baptizing her, another teenage girl came over and asked to be baptized. We had talked to her earlier, and it was so cool that God made sure that she was right there to witness the baptism so her heart could be moved across the finish line. We even had Ashley, the one we baptized first, help with this one.
Then, just as we thought we were finished (again), two young boys came over with their father and asked us to baptize them. The dad said that they were so moved that he didn’t want to say no. How cool that we are trusted by strangers to do things like this!?
Here are the boys:
What a night it was!! We didn’t have nearly the amount of help that night that we had on Friday and Saturday, but the Lord made it clear to us that you don’t need a big team to make a big impact.
HUGE thanks to Amber, Diana, John, Mike M and Paul for coming out that night!! Great job everyone!!!
Whew, so was that an amazing report for one weekend or what!? I can only imagine what this weekend will bring!
The times this weekend will be:
Friday at Bayfront Park (171) at 7
Saturday at Riverwalk (98) at 5
Sunday at Siesta Beach (275) at 4
Please pray and please come when you can, even if it’s only for an hour or two. We will have several people out of town this weekend so we could definitely use the help!
God bless you and thank you SO much for partnering with us in bringing the Great Commission to our cities! Your “yes” truly moves the heart of God!
Love you!
Chris
