Schedule, Announcements and Testimonies- January 19-22, 2023

Hey Fam!  Happy Thursday!

I hope you’ve had a great week! A big shout out to all who came out and served the Lord (in the cold!) last weekend- Mike M, Thom, John, Rose, Stanley, Grace, Joy, Amber, Chuck, Debbie, Mike V, Carlos, Deb, Paul, Dave, Christal, and the 3 new people on Sunday whose names escape me right now.

Thank you ALL so much!

As expected, the crowds were much smaller than usual, but there were still many people who heard.

On Friday, I went to my son’s soccer game and left the team to set up at Bayfront. Big props to Mike, Amber, Sofiya and Thom, they did a great job handling things without me! When I finally arrived, Rose and Stanley had also arrived with their kids, and the first people I saw come up was a group of 3 teenagers. I asked them if they had ever asked Jesus into their life, and they said they had, but that they were struggling in their faith. I counseled them for a bit and then asked if I could pray for them. After I asked, one of the boys turned and pointed to his friend and said, “he really needs prayer, because he has a bad knee.”

I asked the boy what happened, and he said that while playing football he hurt his knee so bad that he thought he may have torn something. I asked Rose and Stanley’s children (who are 12 and 7), to come over and pray for the boys’ knee, and they went after it! They were commanding healing, rebuking pain, and praying with authority. It was so cool!

When they were finished, I asked him to test it out. After doing some different movements, he said, “now it feels the same as my other knee!” He then looked me right in the eye, extended his hand to shake mine, and said, “thank you!” Then we prayed for them some more and gave them scripture booklets. It was so cool! Here’s a pic we got afterwards. He’s the one to my right.

On Saturday, there were maybe only 30-40 people in the park throughout the time we were there, but there was a point when about 6-8 teenagers came over and hung around for about 15-20 minutes. Judging by their hair and clothing, they were definitely being influenced by the world, but several received prayer and most made professions of faith. One even drew this on the sidewalk, which I thought was pretty cool!

On Sunday, there was actually a decent crowd at the beach during sunset, but it was pretty slow early in the night. I’d say we still reached at least 2-300 people though, which was a blessing! My favorite moments were getting to pray for our drummer friend Aaron again (who recently became a believer), and hearing from “Gypsy”, a regular drum circle attendee, that a video he took of me last week doing my Jesus rap song has already gotten 1600 views on his YouTube! God only knows who that is reaching!

Another cool thing that happened last week, is that I got this message on Facebook on Friday.

I don’t know this woman at all, but I messaged her after, and she said that right before her brother died- he shared a video of me preaching on his Facebook wall. She sort of felt like he was a believer, but him sharing the video gave her a strong assurance that God was working in his heart just prior to his death. Because of that, she has peace about where he is right now. Isn’t that cool!?

Here’s another cool and VERY unexpected thing that happened on Friday. One of my friends, who had just read the recap of what The Lord did last year through the ministry at The Drum Circle- 2022 Prophetic Recap – Awaken941, and was SO encouraged by it, handed me this check as a donation!

What is so crazy is that Sofiya and I were just talking about different things we felt the Lord was putting on our hearts to add to the outreaches- like new signs, banners and sound gear, and then poof! Here’s the money to buy it all, plus money that will allow us to easily minister in Ft. Lauderdale in a few months. Is God amazing or what!!!?

I guess He is saying, “Keep going!” So that is what we’re going to do!

This weekend our schedule will be:

Friday at Bayfront Park (147) at 7

Saturday at Riverwalk (75) at 2 (this one is earlier because we are leaving right after to go to Wekiwa Springs for The Front annual retreat).

Sunday at Siesta Beach (252) at 3

Please pray and please come when you can!

Also, tonight is our weekly prayer meeting for the outreaches, so please join that too if you can!
